The 280 hard-working students attending the highly selective Adams College are the best and the brightest-the elite among Keimyung University’s 24,000 strong student body. At Adams College there are various types of scholarships including scholarships at the point admission and semester-based scholarships. More than half of all Adams College students are scholarship holders. Adams College four-year bachelor degrees in International Business and International Relations with courses taught entirely in English. Furthermore, students should satisfy a certain level of English and another foreign language proficiency requirement to graduate.
Adams College’s goal is to produce a new generation of international leaders, instilling the values of love and justice advanced by our namesake, Keimyung Founder Edward Adams, and providing out students with a comprehensive set of intellectual, analytical, and communication skills necessary to purse a challenging and rewarding international career. Despite our short eight year history, graduates of Adams College already show good job placement records at leading multinational and local firms, government ministries, public corporations, and advanced to graduate programs at internationally leading universities.
Adam College’s English speaking foreign faculty are well qualified with doctorate degrees obtained from leading graduate schools in the world. Adams College’s professors actively pursue research and publish in leading international journals.
Our small college setting and low student-to-faculty ratio facilitates close classroom interaction. Each student receives individualized attention and guidance from a faculty advisor. Adams College professors also participate with students in a wide variety of extra-curricular activities, ranging from field trips to religious study, career planning seminars, and current event discussion groups. In fact, Adams College team twice finished second to Seoul National University in the Korean Inter-Varsity Debate Association Championships. Adams College’s excellent students successfully fulfilled their internship programs at international organizations such as including United Nations, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, and Organization of American States.
Adams College maintains formal exchange programs with universities abroad and offers a dual degree program in conjunction with the University of Nebraska Lincoln. The college also offers generous scholarships to qualified international students.
