Located in Daegu, South Korea, our department provides a unique perspective on the key issues in Asia and the world. The participants in our program gain a deeper understanding of the complexities surrounding global security, economic interdependence, environmental sustainability, human rights, and international diplomacy.
Through our curriculum, we combine rigorous academic training with real-world insights, providing students with hands-on opportunities to engage directly with the world of international policy. Our faculty are leaders in their fields, bringing diverse expertise and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. With backgrounds in international security, political economy, international development, international law, area studies, environmental studies, and more, they are dedicated to mentoring the next generation of analysts and practitioners who will go on to shape policy and public discourse in South Korea and beyond.
Many of our graduates entered into successful careers in government agencies, international organizations, and large corporations. They work in South Korea and in many countries across the world. A significant share of our former students went on to get a Master’s degree at highly regarded universities in South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, China, the Netherlands, Spain, and some other countries.
